I’m so delighted you’re here.  My name is Janet.

 

If you’re looking for a friend with remotely interesting credentials, paired with an impressive background and a list of accomplishments to match, then I am not your girl.  

 

However, if you resonate with the average girl down the street, you and I may become quick friends.  My faults and failures are equally stacked against my victories and more endearing qualities:

 

Gracious.  Critical.

I know.  An oxymoron if ever there was one.

 

Hardworking.  (Overly) Sensitive.

I am working hard to dump “overly.”

 

Patient.  Controlling.

Funny how impatience rears its head when others aren’t tackling a task like I would!

 

Trustworthy.  Insecure.

I am, however, highly secure in my trustworthiness.

I gave up "religion" years ago for a personal relationship with my Creator and King of the Universe! 

 

Homemaker

I grew up with a desire to "simply" be a wife and mother.  I have learned there is absolutely nothing "simple" about being a homemaker, but I love what I do!  I am blessed to be married to a man who continues to exceed my expectations.  Together, we have four children and two grandchildren.
